This is the most recent addition to the Kelley Family (St. George Chapter)! This is our new pet praying mantis that we have come to affectionately call Freddy. Freddy showed up on our porch one night out of the blue. Apparently he figured that our porch light was the best dining joint in all the land round about. So he set up shop, ate his heart out at night, and just hung out during the day. Every morning we would pass each with a cordial "How do you do?" or a lighthearted "Don't work to hard today!" Life was good! Until my heartbroke the day that I came home and Freddy was no where to be found. Panic and terror filled my thoughts! I looked everywhere. Friends and local authorities gathered and helped formed search parties to help find our dear friend. Despite the incredible coming together of a community, our search was in vain. Freddy was gone. I don't know where the road has led my green friend, but I'd like to think that he met the love of his life and ran away in a flurry of passion. And just like most men when they fall in love, he was devoured. Literally! So to you Freddy, I raise my glass and pay tribute to you! I hope your love was long, and your digestion swift!
